Lincoln Hall Room Technology
All rooms in NIU's residence hall
system are wired for dedicated Internet access. Lincoln Hall's Internet access
is via DSL service
and is ready for you when you move into your room in the fall. All residents
will be assessed $50.00 per semester for Technology Services on their phone
bill. The Technology Services funds will
help NIU to continue to provide a wide range of technology services to you
such as dedicated Internet access in every room in the residence halls, access
from campus computer labs, cyber terminals in residence hall lobbies, technology
support services,
and telephone services.
All Internet equipment should be
in your room when you move in
and should be left in the room when you leave in May. If you have
any questions about available technology, please contact the ResTech Help
Desk at 753-6267. Missing equipment should be reported immediately to the
Helpdesk or you will billed for it.
