Welcome to NIU's Blackwell Museum

The Blackwell is a member of the Illinois Association of Museums, the American Association for State and Local History and the headquarters of the Country School Association of America. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting interest in the history of American education and are sponsored by the College's Department of Leadership, Educational Psychology and Foundations.
