Student-Faculty Retreat

 

Each year, Adult and Higher Education students, faculty and alumni collaborate to support our community with the AHE Student-Faculty Retreat. This page will provide the information you need to better understand the
purpose, details and logistics of the AHE Retreat.

 

What is the purpose of the retreat?

The purpose of the AHE Student-Faculty Retreat is to provide an opportunity for students, faculty and alumni/graduates to engage in thoughtful conversation in support of the community of AHE scholars & practitioners.

Who should attend the Retreat?

All current and prospective AHE graduate students, faculty, and interested alumni/graduates should attend the Retreat. Students at the Masters and Doctoral Level will find the retreat experience valuable!

How should we dress for the Retreat?

The Retreat is casual. Participants should dress comfortably and for the weather!

What is the schedule for the Retreat?

The AHE Student-Faculty Retreat will include a number of large-group and small-group break-out sessions on a variety of topics of interest to students in adult and higher education. For information about new parts of the AHE Retreat, see the What’s different at this year’s Retreat? section above. When the agenda for the day is finalized with the names and abstracts of individual break-out sessions, it will be posted on the this webpage.
