Membership

Membership is open to individuals with an interest in educational administration with an emphasis on higher education administration. There are two categories of membership:

Active Members

Affiliate Members
Students pursuing a graduate degree in education who meet the financial obligations set forth by the organization. Only active members may hold an officer position. Individuals, such as faculty, administrators, staff, alumni, etc., who do not meet the criteria for active membership but who support the organization's objectives and goals.
$10/semester* or $15/year*

  • Development of social and professional network with fellow students, alumni, faculty, and guest speakers
  • Opportunity to provide programming for fellow students while refining programming, planning, and implementation skills
  • Support for conference registration
  • Recognition at Annual SHEA Awards Banquet
  • Notice of and participation in organizational meetings
  • Inclusion on SHEA listserv for communication purposes
  • Enhance leadership skills

* There is a one-time membership fee of $5 for all memberships.
