Effective immediately, all software installation requests for classroom labs, classroom carts, or podia will require completion of the CoE Classroom Podium/Lab Software Installation Form. This form must be submited with the original manuals or technical documentation, the original software media (CD-ROM or disks), proof of purchase and License Agreement to CoE Tech Services in GH 431. Please submit a separate request form for each application. All software is installed for a period of one semester. To renew, update and submit this form again.
Installations are scheduled on a first-come first-serve basis. The due date for the form for software intended for the Spring 2009 term is Friday December 2, 2008 Requests for software installation made after the due date will not be scheduled prior to the fourth week of the term. Completion of these late requests will be dependent upon lab availability, technician availability and impact on the end user.
Unlocked and unattended technology rich classrooms are prime targets for theft. Please remember to close the door at the end of your class. Students for the next class should be asked to wait in the hallway until their instructor arrives to unlock the door for them. Thanks for your assistance.
