A greeting to my future students

Hello! My name is Catherina Rousonelos, but everyone calls me Ms. Cici. I am studying to become a teacher at Northern Illinois University in the United States. Some of my hobbies include traveling, cooking, and spending time with family. I am excited to meet so many new students and families this summer

Why I want to be a teacher and what I believe promotes great learning

Becoming a teacher has always been a goal of mine since I was young. I am becoming a teacher because I am passionate about encouraging children to dream big. I believe that the true purpose of a teacher is to positively impact the future of our world, and the future is our children.

I believe that great learning is promoted through hands-on activities. I plan to teach English in a fun and interactive way, with team building activities, games, phonic songs, comics, and books.

Why I am interested in teaching in Taiwan

I am interested in teaching in Taiwan because I find learning about other cultures to be crucial as an educator. I am excited to learn about the Taiwanese classroom culture, environment, and family values. This opportunity will enable me to implement diversity and culture in the United States for my own classroom.

My desired superpower and why

If I could choose a superpower, I would choose the power to heal. I think that being able to heal someone or something to optimal health would be a very meaningful superpower.
