A greeting to my future students
Hello there! My name is Ms. Chan, and my hometown is Morton Grove, Illinois. I am beyond excited to meet each and every one of you! I know that we will have so much fun together – we have interesting activities planned for you. To tell you a little about myself, one of my biggest passions is cooking and trying new food. I am currently teaching kindergarteners, and one way I relate to them is that I play “Pokemon Go!: I wonder if any of you play! I can't wait to get to know all of you and to tell you more about myself. I'm looking forward to a fun-filled summer.
Why I want to be a teacher and what I believe promotes great learning
I want to be a teacher to inspire my students and inspire children to love learning. I love to watch my students grow academically, and as individuals. I want to teach my students that they are capable of achieving and accomplishing anything they set their minds to. I believe high interest and collaboration with others promote great learning.
Why I am interested in teaching in Taiwan
I am interested in teaching in Taiwan to gain more experience with second-language learners. I am also interested in experiencing how teaching in another country feels. I had the opportunity to visit Taiwan this past December, and I absolutely loved how beautiful the island was.
My desired superpower and why
If I had a superpower, I would love the ability to teleport. It would be amazing to teleport to anywhere in the world at any given moment. I could witness beautiful sights and travel to places without wasting any time traveling.
