A greeting to my future students

Hi students! I am very excited about the opportunity for us to learn together this summer. We will be exploring many exciting topics, such as the water cycle, money and comic books, all the while improving our English. Get ready to have fun creating and learning this summer!

Why I want to be a teacher and what I believe promotes great learning

When I finished high school, I was unsure of what I wanted to study in college. I took the next year off of school before beginning further education. I wanted to be confident in my area of study. During this time, I realized that I dreadfully missed academic learning. I also knew how much I enjoyed working with children. So, putting those two passions together, I wholeheartedly decided that I wanted to teach. It has been one of the best decisions of my life.

What I believe promotes great learning is intrinsic motivation – being interested in what is being learned. Additionally, I also believe that enthusiastic teachers ignite their students to become passionate, lifelong learners. Finally, exploration activities and student choice encourage students to learn with curiosity and excitement.

Why I am interested in teaching in Taiwan

I'm delighted about teaching in Taiwan because teaching and traveling are two of my greatest passions. Taiwan seems like a beautiful country. I cannot wait to see the other side of the world, and to share my joy of learning with others.

My desired superpower and why

If I could have a superpower, I wish that I could fly. I think that exploring the world would be awesome. By flying, I could go anywhere!
