Quasha S. Graves
A greeting to my future students
Why I want to be a teacher and what I believe promotes great learning
I want to be a teacher so I can serve as an advocator for students in need. My education philosophy is: if you do not understand your students you cannot teach them. I know that it is important for me to get to know my students' backgrounds and apply that knowledge to my classroom, allowing students to have an inclusive, enriching and equitable educational experience.
Why I am interested in teaching in Taiwan
I want to learn about the culture and customs of this country. I want to be educated on the religion, language, foods, entertainment, and education. Taiwan will provide me with the opportunity to teach students on an international level. Taiwan can offer me something I could not offer myself alone, and that is wisdom about a walk of life I have never encountered.
My desired superpower and why
I wish I could read people's minds because I would know why a person thinks the way they do, especially about me.
