ISEP
The International Student Exchange Program (ISEP)
is a membership organization of nearly 220 higher education
institutions in the United States and 35 other countries that are
committed to international exchange. ISEP serves its member
institutions and their students by facilitating affordable
university-level exchanges on a reciprocal basis. ISEP is committed
to international educational exchange as an integral component of
higher education, accessible to all students regardless of social
and economic background.

Bureau of Education
The IBE, which is an international center for
the content of education, was founded in Geneva in 1925 as a private
institution. In 1929, it extended its membership to governments and
thus became the first intergovernmental organization in the field of
education. In 1969, the IBE joined UNESCO as an integral, yet
autonomous, institutions with three main lines of action: organizing
the sessions of the International Conference on Education as an
international forum for dialogue on educational policy; collecting,
analyzing and disseminating educational documentation and
information, in particular on innovations concerning curricula and
teaching methods; and undertaking surveys and studies in the field
of comparative education.

Education of Students (IES)
Founded in 1950 as The Institute of European
Studies, The Institute for the International Education of Students (IES)
blends the best elements of foreign higher education with American
university requirements, and at the same time encourages every
student to explore the unique elements of each country's culture.
We work with more than 500 colleges and universities to enroll more
than 1,800 students in 20 unique academic programs in 12 cities
throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and South America.

iteachnet
As its name implies, Iteachnet is an
association of international school teachers and administrators.
The twist is that this association works via an electronic network
using e-mail and the World Wide Web. Based on the belief that
the best way to empower students in international schools is to
empower those directly responsible for their education, the
International Educators' Network Association serves individual
teachers and administrators either working or interested in
international education.

International Education IIE Online
With a staff of 335 in six U.S. and nine
overseas offices, and 6,000 volunteers worldwide, IIE is well
positioned to respond to educational, training, and technical
assistance challenges in countries around the world. IIE's extensive
contacts, in-house expertise, and long experience in the field
enable us to develop new initiatives to meet pressing needs and then
to manage them efficiently and cost effectively.

Baccalaureate Organization (IBO)
The educational philosophy of the organization
is found in its mission statement adopted in 1996: Through
comprehensive and balanced curricula coupled with challenging
assessments, the International Baccalaureate Organization aims to
assist schools in their endeavors to develop the individual talents
of young people and teach them to relate the experience of the
classroom to the realities of the world outside. Beyond intellectual
rigour and high academic standards, strong emphasis is placed on the
ideals of international understanding and responsible citizenship,
to the end that IB students may become critical and compassionate
thinkers, lifelong learners and informed participants in local and
world affairs, conscious of the shared humanity that binds all
people together while respecting the variety of cultures and
attitudes that makes for the richness of life.

The
International Education Consultants Association
The history of TIECA dates back to 1990 when a
group of twelve educational consultants in Thailand formed an
independent, self regulating group under the name "The
Educational Consultants Group of Thailand", widely known as ECT.
The main objectives of the group were to share their expertise in
the field of international education and to help raise standards of
practice and services rendered to students and international
institutions.

International Council for Open and Distance Education
The International Council for Open and
Distance Education (ICDE) is the global membership organization of
educational institutions, national and regional associations,
corporations, educational authorities and agencies in the fields of
open learning, distance education, and flexible, lifelong learning.
ICDE facilitates international cooperation in distance education and
open learning throughout the world. Through the ICDE membership and
partnership structure, more than 130 countries are represented.

Established in 1969 and located in the
multicultural mecca of Southern California, IERF is a not-for-profit
foundation with over 30 years of experience in the field of foreign
credential evaluation. As the largest service in the Western
U.S., IERF has successfully evaluated more than 150,000 credential
applications.

ISS is a private, non-profit organization
founded in 1955 to serve American international schools overseas.
The Princeton office of ISS is staffed by professionals experienced
in the field of international education. ISS also employs teachers
and administrators in the schools it operates worldwide. ISS
services include establishing and operating international schools,
recruiting and placing teachers and administrators, consulting,
financial management, purchasing and shipping instructional
materials, supplies, and equipment for schools, colleges, and
universities, publishing, foundations management, and facility
planning.
