The Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education will develop well-educated, competent professionals who are self-reflective practitioners and lifelong learners. Through excellence in teaching, scholarship/artistry, community and professional service, the department will address the needs of diverse populations in attaining an optimal quality of life through appreciation of and participation in a physically active, creative, and health-promoting lifestyle.
