The Learning Center offers a one-stop-shopping spot for unique instructional support services gathered into a single place. Here are a few of the services we provide:
Audio/Video Conferences
Go anywhere in the world without leaving campus. You can do it in the Learning Center. We can make it happen.
Instructional Design
Need a little help in developing instructional material? We can help. Check us out.
Media Production
Are you a student working on a project for class? Are you an instructor looking for help with media for class? We have resources and staff ready to help.
Technology Workshops
Together with the College of Education Tech Support Team, the Learning Center holds training sessions on LiveText (which includes instruction in programs such as PowerPoint, MS Word, GenieWare, and Photostory). We also provide an introduction to the videoconference system for faculty who are interested in using it for instruction.
Tutoring
One–on–one tutoring is available for College of Education students. We also provide sessions to prepare students for the Basic Skills Test (BST) and the Assessment of Professional Teaching (APT) exam.
