Education Videos and DVDs

The Learning Center holds a variety of materials that cover every aspect of education. Programs can be previewed in the Center at an available viewing stations and faculty can check them out for up to a week.

Selected Graded Texts

The Center's collection of K-12 curriculum materials helps students become familiar with print-based teaching aids. Students can use these resources to prepare lesson plans and daily activities for their clinical experiences. Material may be checked out for up to two weeks.

Course Reserves

Faculty can bring items to the Learning Center to put on reserve for student use. These materials may include books, articles, videotapes, CDs, DVDs, and manipulatives. Students can check out reserves in-house for two hours. Copy machines are available in the Center for copying.

Creating an Account in Alexandria

In order to use Alexandria more fully to reserve, hold, and check out any of the holdings in the Learning Center’s collections, you’ll need an account. We can quickly create that account for you, but we’ll need your help first. Please provide the following information in an e-mail so we can register you today.

• First name
• Last name
• Novell log-in number
• Department
• College (if not College of Education)
• Your e-mail address
• Your phone number

We’ll forward to you a temporary password that you may change at any time. Once you’ve received that password, you’ll be able to reserve, hold, and check out any of the holdings in our collections.
