School Business Management (M.S.Ed.)

This 39-semester hour degree program is intended to prepare persons to serve as school business managers. Students will complete a program of study under the direction of an assigned to include course work, internship and field experiences related to the school business management function in elementary, secondary or college educational systems.

The Chief School Business Official course work must be completed through this degree if the highest degree the applicant holds is an undergraduate degree. Applicants holding a graduate degree may complete a degree or non-degree / certificate –only option.

This degree requires a three semester internship process. The Chief School Business Official course work is completed through this degree. Those individuals who already hold an accredited master's degree my apply to the department for a non-degree program.

b) Submit two letters of recommendation on the graduate school's standard form submitted on your behalf from current Type 75 holders, preferably a supervisor http://www.grad.niu.edu/apply/index.shtml
c) official transcripts from institutions in which a degree was conferred
d) GRE, GMAT or waiver www.gre.org or www.mba.com Minimum scores: Verbal 400, Quantitative 400 or combined score exceeding 800, Analytical 3.5
