Dr. Hide Shimizu is a cultural psychologist trained in the fields of comparative human development and psychological anthropology. Dr. Shimizu's teaching and research interests are cultural phenomenology, cultural socialization, educational ethnography, and cutural influences on personality development, teaching and learning process, and minority experiences.
