interests
Professor Carger teaches undergraduate and graduate
courses in multicultural education, childrens literature, and elementary
reading. Her research interests include narrative inquiry, literacy
for bilingual students, the use of multicultural childrens literature
for reading instruction, and integrating the arts and reading development.
