Alumna to Speak about Muscular Dystrophy Association Art Collection

The College of Education, in conjunction with the Colleges of Health & Human Sciences and Visual & Performing Arts, is sponsoring a presentation by CoE alumna Joanne Shortt. Ms. Shortt's presentation topic will be "Transcending Barriers to Creativity." The talk will focus largely on the art collection of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, where she works in Community Programs.

Students, faculty, staff, and alumni are all invited to learn how Ms. Shortt's education and experiences led her to the MDA and to her passion for helping individuals develop and share their abilities. Light refreshments will be served.
