REPS was responsible for or directly involved in grants and contracts totaling over $7 million dollars in 2006. An additional $3 million dollars worth of awards from various federal sources are presently in stages of final review or under development. REPS participates as external evaluator for grants from several federal departments, including Education, Health and Human Services, and Justice. In addition to acting as evaluation or assessment consultant to a number of school districts and municipal organizations, our office is also a continuing grant partner with NIU's own College of Engineering and Engineering Technology. REPS provides research, analysis, and assessment consultation to faculty of the College of Education as a professional service activity.
