Questions about the many "faces" of education remain at the heart of my journey from the public school classroom to business and industry training to philosophical foundations of education. How do philosophical, social, and historical contexts influence our views of educational possibilities and problems? How do our personal and shared philosophies impact the educational claims we make, goals we set, and relationships we establish? Integrating educational practice, philosophy, and policy in my scholarship and in my teaching, I continue to explore philosophy's role in interpreting our educational commitments.
