Section Overview

Image Manipulation encompasses employing various principles of visual literacy for the purpose of making an image more readable, or "decodable", by persons in a target group. Images appear in various formats: in print, on-screen, and in 2 or 3 dimensions. Pictures, graphs, and simple text outlines are all examples of various formats that images can take.
