Special Education: Behavior Analysis (M.S.Ed.)

Behavior Analysis is the application of the science of learning to the solution of problems of social significance. Behavior analysts work in schools, homes, and community settings, and consult in the assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of behavioral interventions for a variety of learners across a variety of skills.

This specialization is designed for educators and other professionals who wish to gain expertise in behavior analysis. The Association for the Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) has approved the listed courses below as meeting coursework requirements to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA) examination.

This program previously met the requirements as a Verified Course Sequence (VCS) and we are on track to be approved by the proposed deadline of 2027 for the new Tiered Recognition Model.

The Applied Behavior Analysis Programs Guide recently named our program as one of the Top 25 Best Applied Behavior Analysis Programs.
