Educational Psychology is the scientific study of psychology in Educational contexts (Wittrock, 1992). Educational psychologists seek to answer a number of questions such as the following:

• How can modern theories of learning transform educational practice? 
• What contexts affect learning and development?
• How do developmental changes influence learning across the lifespan?
• What motivates students?
• What role does culture and socialization play in learning?
