Educational Psychology

Educational Psychology is the scientific study of psychology in Educational contexts (Wittrock, 1992). Educational psychologists seek to answer a number of questions such as the following:
- How can modern theories of learning transform educational practice?
- What contexts affect learning and development?
- How do developmental changes influence learning across the lifespan?
- What motivates students?
- What role does culture and socialization play in learning?
