The Blackwell is a member of the Illinois Association of Museums, the American Association for State and Local History and the headquarters of the Country School Association of America. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting interest in the history of American education and are sponsored by the College's Department of Leadership, Educational Psychology and Foundations.
The Country School Association of America has awarded the PBS documentary Days of the One Room Schoolhouse the annual CSAA Research and Artistry Award.
